Sara & Beth Gifts and Home is a neighborhood boutique in the Historic Downtown Georgetown. We recently relocated to 606C Front Street, located across the street from the George Hotel and down the corridor—just follow the flowers! When you walk inside several words come to mind swiftly – beautiful, elegant and perfectly displayed.
Here’s a bit of background. Before she had children, Beth Ness owned The Added Touch, a better women’s shop on Front Street. Time tends to shift things up and she ultimately left the shop to tend to growing children and to help her pharmacist husband, Phillip Ness. If you’re from around here, odds are quite good you know them. Beth was born and raised in Georgetown and is truly a “local”.
Anyway, Beth clearly hasn’t lost her sense of style. Previously this section of the pharmacy was dedicated to diabetic shoes and other health-related gear but the ongoing changes in Medicare and insurance frustrated her and started her wheels turning about doing something different with the space.
Then she and her husband, Phillip, sold their pharmacy and decided to start a new venture. It’s a beautiful shop, so chic, colorful, and beautifully designed. Beth travels each season to market searching for new items. So, in order to properly describe our one-of-a-kind shop, we’re going to string a bunch of fun stuff together to get you planning a visit.
Sara & Beth Gifts offers an beautiful variety of home decor, gifts, art, fashion, and designer jewelry! Therefore, this spot is a perfect place to choose a gift for a special occasion! There is select glassware such as an Italian decanter paired with a set of Italian whisky glasses; or a Portuguese compote. Also featured is melamine and serving pieces by Beatriz Ball. While walking around you will notice the most beautiful lamps – talk about good taste! Fashion includes handbags, wraps, jewelry, and Brackish Bow ties for the men. There is a beautiful selection of handbags and designer jewelry that you will fall in love with. We can help you find the perfect gift for any occasion.
We offer a full bridal registry for your special day. Our consultants will meet with you and help you select everything you need to start your new life. Each gift is gift wrapped with special touches and delivered to the bride. There is an online bridal registry where selections are entered and guests can choose from this registry of special gifts.
Also, we have a dynamic-duo that specializes in interior design! These lovely ladies will come to your home to help design and choose the best pieces to make your home picture perfect. If you are looking to renovate or redesign your space, we’ve got you covered! Our space features beautiful chairs, ottomans, lamps, chests, and more! We also have an online platform where you can select the pieces perfect for you!
